Buttercup "As if you don't want something." Buttercup growled from the kitchen. "Well, what is it? Spit it out Bubbles, I've got enough stress as it is and the faster we get this over with, the better." As the kettle on the stove started to hiss, Buttercup took some tea bags out of the pantry and placed them in the two mugs. "Sugar, cream?" she asked, gritting her teeth.
Berserk Berserk whimpered and clung to Brat's shirt, straining inside her head to hear the familiar sound of her sister's voice. Who..? she racked her aching brain furiously to recall why she knew that voice. "Wake up..." I'm asleep..? Well, I guess I should have known I was asleep... Or am I dead? No, I can hear someone... Berserk struggled against the hold of the old soul inside of her, trying to pull herself into consciousness.
"Please." Bubbles nodded at the question, lacing her fingers together calmly. She gazed at her sister in the kitchen through her eyelashes while trying to maintain her cooled attitude. Truthfully, she was still a little pissed. She knew that Brat was hiding something from her and she didn't like it. At the mention of stress, the blonde decided to take the opening.
"Stress? Whatever could it be that has you so stressed out?" Flooded from her mouth in a show of attempted concern, the blonde maintaining a steady eye on her sister.
Brat
Feeling her red-headed sister clinging to her shirt and whimpering managed to tug harshly at Brat's heartstrings, she knew that her sister never acted like that unless under extreme circumstances and it worried the blonde immensely. Pulling the girl closer to her, she continued petting her hair and held her tight.
"Berserk....I'm right here....Oh man, I hope you're okay..." The last part she murmured to herself as her worries escalated. "What's wrong with you.....how could this have..." She trailed off a little bit and shook her head. "Wake up, please....please....."
"None of your business!" Buttercup snapped at her sister as she stirred cream and sugar into both mugs rather sharply.
"Now if there's something you want from me, get it over with, please." the dark-haired girl sighed, offering a mug to the blonde without moving from behind the counter, hiding her stomach.
Berserk The sound of the voice kept Berserk sane enough to finally throw off the droning of the other one in her head and bring herself to consciousness.
"Ffffffffuckmyhead..." she muttered, letting go of Brat's shirt to rub her temples.
"My head hasn't hurt this bad since I had to take a math test." she groaned, pulling her hands away when she noticed they were sticky.
"And what the-" Berserk's eyes widened as she saw her fingers coated with blood. She touched her head again.
"B- Brat.. Why am I bleeding?" the redhead asked her sister, her eyes filled with confusion and fear.
Bubbles got up daintily and retrieved her mug, blowing into it carefully before taking a small sip. She smiled a little and nodded at the taste, not bad. Her eyes turned and stared blankly at her sister for a moment, the smile not leaving but not spreading either. She put her mug down.
"I want to know if there's anything going on with you that I should know about." She started slowly, calmly. "If you're stressed I could give you a massage you know." Her smile twitched upwards a little bit more, her voice kept at a pleasant tone.

Brat
Brat couldn't help but smile and sigh in relief as Berserk finally regained consciousness. She hugged her sister a little tired, tears pricking at her eyes.
"Oh sis...I was so worried...y-you were clawing at yourself in your sleep! I tried to stop you....a-are you okay?" She asked shakily, still incredibly worried.
Buttercup eyed her sister warily, leaning on the counter and sipping her tea without seeming to notice the sharp burn her tongue was getting.
I don't need a massage, thanks." she muttered, running a hand over her forehead and putting down her mug.
"But if you'll excuse me for a moment, I have to use the bathroom." and with that quip, Buttercup stalked off to the bathroom down a small hallway and slammed the door quickly.
Berserk Berserk smiled up at her sister through pained tears. "I- I'm okay... I just hurt.... everywhere." she tried to laugh and winced.
"Can I clean up and get, like, five to twenty aspirin?"
Bubbles rose an eyebrow and sipped at her tea carefully. She wondered when Buttercup had gotten so serious, really. She hadn't been there to see this happen. The tea thing was new to her, but she figured she'd have to accept it. She'd changed too, for the better of course.
"Suit yourself."
She called, her eyes and ears now trained on the bathroom. She waltzed over to the couch with her mug and sat down. There was definitely something going on, and she intended to find out what it was.
Brat
Brat smiled a little and gently wiped away the tears and blood from Berserk's face. She was still in shock over how with just a few words Bubbles has ended the years of hostility between the two of them. She was extremely grateful.
"Don't overdose right after waking up!" Brat scolded playfully, relief melting over her again and again. She seemed okay, she'd be okay now right?
Buttercup cursed as she knelt in front of the toilet, retching. With the Chemical X in her veins speeding up her pregnancy, she thought that she'd skip over the morning sickness, but apparently that was not the case.
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, FUCK! Dammit, this is ridiculous. I should just kill this kid myself and get it over with. I will not make a good mother. Buttercup berated herself, leaning her forehead against the cold porcelain as she waited to make sure everything had passed.
She stood unsteadily, carefully stepping to the sink and brushing her teeth, rinsing with mouthwash to get the nasty taste from her mouth.
"Sorry..." Buttercup apologized to her guest as she walked back into the living room. She picked up her mug of still-steaming tea from the counter and curled up on the couch, her knees tucked up to her chest.
Berserk
Berserk rolled her eyes, getting awkwardly to her feet and looked around in confusion.
"Bathroom..?" was all she said, looking quizzically at her sister.
Wordlessly, the blonde scooted over a little bit to make room for her sister. Mug still glued to her lips, she trained her eyes on the black haired girl. Those were some unusual sounds coming from the bathroom, mostly because it was notoriously difficult for an X-ite to fall ill. She smirked a bit and lowered her mug.
"Not feeling very well?"
Bubbles tried casually, narrowing her eyes in concentration.
Brat
Brat bit her lip as she tried to keep herself from smiling. Honestly it was such a relief to be talking to her sister without a fight, to have her up and aware. With a little wave, she pointed Berserk in the direction of her bathroom.
"Over there, call me if you need me...okay?" She whispered, her eyes locked with Berserk's red ones.
Buttercup shot a glare in her sister's direction before staring into her mug, the steam softening the tension wrinkled on her forehead.
"I'm just fine, thank you Bubbles." Buttercup said curtly, before taking a long sip of tea.
"How is it?" inquired the hostess of her guest's drink, nodding in the direction of the mug in her sister's hands.
Berserk
Berserk nodded gratefully to her sister, trotting into the bathroom down a short hallway and closing the door. The redhead took a deep breath and steeled herself before looking into the mirror. When she turned to face herself in reflection, she let out a quiet gasp at her appearance.
There was blood dripping down from her forehead to her chin, and insanely dark circles under her eyes. her hair was the worst of it though. Her ribbons had tangled into knots through her hair, which had tangled into knots around itself as well. Berserk sighed and searched the medicine cabinet for scissors and aspirin for her head. Once she found both, Berserk popped three aspirin and started the shower with hot water.
Once she had showered and cleaned her face up, Berserk tried to brush out her hair as best she could. When she had accomplished that, she took the scissors and cut.
Bubbles didn't believe Buttercup for a second, but she didn't say anything for awhile. She sipped her tea again and shrugged a little. Truthfully, the tea wasn't bad or anything, but she couldn't resist the opportunity to mess with her sister.
"Tastes like shit compared to what I usually have, but I'll manage with this. Thank you."
The blonde chirped pleasantly enough, a sly smirk gracing her features. She continued a moment later, not giving Buttercup a chance to blow up on her.
"And I don't think you're just fine, you do realize how difficult it is for us Puffs to get sick don't you? Did you really think I'd buy that excuse?"
Buttercup jerked, gaping at her sister's outright rudeness. She was so caught off guard that it took her a moment to recover and understand what Bubbles was asking.
"I am just fine, actually. I went to see the Professor earlier and we're going through a process to remove my powers." Well, it wasn't exactly a lie... She was losing her powers in and out with the dizziness. And as soon as she did something about the baby, she would get rid of her powers.
Buttercup lifted her chin defiantly. "And if you don't like the tea, you don't have to drink it baby sister."
Berserk
Berserk padded quietly out of the bathroom, her body clean except for a few lacerations showing on her cheeks and forehead. Her eyes were still slightly bloodshot, and there were dark circles under them, but she felt much better after the shower and aspirin.
She walked back in to where Brat was, sitting down next to her sister silently and fingering her newly shorn hair.
her ginger locks were now filling the bathroom trashcan - she had picked up as much of them as she could - and her head felt much lighter and free. She hadn't gone so far as to cut it as short as Brute's was, but it was only down to her earlobes in a sharp, asymmetrical bob. The shortest of her hair was cut just above the top of her left ear, and it fell softly down across the back of her head to reach the bottom of her earlobe on the right. Her bangs, normally spiky but straight across her brow, were now cut straight, but off towards her left ear, to compensate for how short it was on that side.
Bubbles lifted a brow in interest, surprised at this new development. The toughest fighter, willingly giving up her powers? What a turn of events. It would certainly be better for her in the end to not have to worry about Buttercup getting in her way, though something in her still tightened at losing the only link she really had left to her favorite sister. Her face melted into a scowl, however, when she heard the 'baby' comment. Okay, fuck sisterhood then if she was going to be like that.
"We're triplets, I'm not a baby." The blonde hissed over her mug, slamming it down angrily but not hard enough to break anything. "And another thing, even if you're going to...remove...your powers later on that doesn't change the fact that you still have them now. So how on earth did you get sick enough to start puking your guts out back there!" She paused, her eyes widening a little. "Oh, little BCup isn't Bulimic is she?" She whispered, scandalized by the very idea.
Brat
Brat had to do a double take, then a triple take as she caught sight of her sister's new do. That was.....certainly surprising and she gaped a bit until she found the sense to close her mouth. She'd never imagine doing such a thing to her own flowing locks, but strangely the look sort of....worked for Berserk. She smiled.
"Wow...." She whispered, reaching to touch the newly cut hair. "Oh wow.....not bad sis." Was what she managed, holding back the 'why' question. This was something Berserk decided herself and she supported whatever reasoning she had. It wasn't her place to question her, only to support her.
"Sorry you're on a schedule," Arken said. "However, I can't offer much help. I'm no calendar. I don't know the exact date and time when she'll improve. It could be days, or it could be weeks."
Arken sighed heavily, crossed his arms and put his back against the wall.
"I know you're probably thinking that this makes little sense. It must seem quite far-fetched for a girl like Buttercup to be ill. While I can't really get into the details, it's true for what my word is worth. What point would there be in lying?"
However, there was one detail he was leaving out. The fact that he was lying, if only just a little. Buttercup wasn't exactly ill, and he most certainly could get into the details. He simply thought (correctly) that it would would be a terrible, terrible idea to tell anyone the truth about what was going, whether he knew them or not.
"My apologies if I'm asking too much of you," he told the girl. "But there must be something you could do in the meantime?"

~Bell~
Bell huffed and crossed her arms. This was just getting more annoying by the second. She glanced back and forth between Arken and the door, torn between obeying his request or taking her own initiative. Days or even weeks... This was bullshit. As important as this was to her, she could be doing much better things right now, like shopping for more music and video games at the mall. Even the daughter of the most powerful being in the Darkstar Council needed to splurge from time to time. She had a running tab going anyway. She glanced at Arken when he mentioned about how farfetched it would be for Buttercup to be ill. He was right; it didn't make much sense to her at all. She didn't even think Puffs, Ruffs, or even X-ites could get sick.
"Hmmph..."
She glanced at him again, but lingered her gaze to study him. Was he holding out on her? If he was lying to her, she would surely show her wrath. However, she still had no idea what she was up against. Outright attacking him for lying would be stupid. She met his eyes when he offered for her to do something in the meantime and she rolled her eyes. She might as well; this was getting her nowhere. Before she left, she at least wanted to seek out Bubbles again to make sure she was still around, so she closed her eyes and concentrated her energy. There were quite a few people currently in the building, but much less that actually had any superpowers. She easily found Buttercup's energy signature and Bubbles' was very close by, but they weren't the only ones around. Two more energy signatures were present, at least one probably belonging to the girl who owned the apartment with the window she entered through. Shifting her attention back to Bubbles, her eyes suddenly snapped open in realization. Arken had told her that Buttercup should not be disturbed or confronted, and yet she sensed Bubbles in the same room as her. A grin slowly spread across Bell's face and she relaxed a bit.
"So, refresh my memory again. You told me not to disturb or confront her, correct? Then why am I sensing someone else in Buttercup's room right now? Namely...Bubbles." She paused to let this information sink in. "It seems I wasn't the only one with questions for her."
Gir just ran around the compound. "WHEEEEEEE. Hmm where did pig go? Cause I love pig!!! Hmm where did mini moose go? He hasn't been around in a looooong time!" he said looking around before going off on his merry little way.
Zim "Gir?! Where the hell are you?!" Zim yelled looking around for that stupid little robot. He needed the insane little thing for a task, but he couldn't find him.
I'm not a nazi!... I'm a hamster with food in my cheeks!
