Ignatius gave a small chuckle, "Goodness gracious, great balls of fire eh?" He was happy to meet another demon that didn't stick to the normal ethos that Ignaitus had to deal with when he hunted.
"Don't worry about the demons, I'm sure you'll be kicking their ass to hell and back, Ha, I'm more worried about what part of my past he might show." Ignatius had to give this warning, because it still haunted him to this day. "Where as he worked with an Empire that spans a million worlds, I worked for no one, it meant that I'd have my own trials and unfortunately I've gotten this feeling there were times that he somehow orginized them."
"If a dead man from a future that grim, can do these things... then my question is; What has he planned for us?" He shook his head before smiling. "I'm sure you'll be fine, by the way, I'll be distracting the local heroes here. Need to make sure they don't interfere... not just yet... So you wouldn't happen to have just a bit of info about them now would you?"
Conrad could give statistics, information about schooling and their actions but could not do it from a human perspective. Only from what the data says.

tFab continued to grin at Ignatius; there was something about this version of the man that he liked. Maybe it was the fact that the guy was humorous, in a slightly annoying way. He then tilted his head when Ignatius mentioned about what parts of his past would be revealed in the next clue.
“Are you worried about how that will affect you or me? Or maybe it’ll affect both of us now that I’m a part of this whole thing. And as far as your question goes about what a dead man from the future has in store for us, I have a feeling that it’s going to involve a lot of trial and error. Then again, we can probably only afford so many errors if any at all.”
tFab mentally cursed himself. He hated when he started getting philosophical and it wasn’t long before he raised an eyebrow at Ignatius.
“Wait…local heroes? You mean the Powerpuff Girls? I know that they are in this city somewhere, but I haven’t the slightest idea where they could be though. I did however come across someone who I think is masquerading as one of the Girls. She dresses in dark blue, has blonde hair in two extremely long pigtails, and is on the fifth floor of the apartment building downtown. I think she keeps her door open a lot too so you don’t have to knock. I’d check with her first for any information about the Girls, but she does tend to avoid questions. I’m trying to locate the Girls for my own reasons, and if you can somehow get information out of her concerning where they are, that would be greatly appreciated. I’ll consider it a return for helping you. In the meantime, I’ll be at the museum getting that next clue. Later, Ignatius.”
And with that, tFab shifted the weight of the case to his other hand, turned around, and made his way back to the elevator.

"Going through trees? He's determined, but stupid... trees will slow him down... of course, if he was as agile as I am, he could argue that curving around trees takes longer, but we shall see... oh shit..."
Berserk hit into a tree, before being flung down to the ground. She coughed as the dirt ground began to fume all over her. She closed her eyelids to prevent it from touching her eyes.
"Damn it... now I have to get this dry cleaned!" she moaned, and she almost knew that Brick was going to be on her, long before she could see clearly.
He gave a large smile, he couldn't help but appreciate his new found ally... maybe there was something about his forgotten self that rang true. Even though he died, he was able to alter the possibilities, to change the future for the better. "Eh, who knows how I truly work..." Ignatius thought quietly as he watched tFab leave, "Don't worry, I'll keep in contact... though you may have to keep your mind open, after all it maybe a bit difficult to keep this little meeting silent otherwise they might spoil what we are trying to achieve... whatever it is."
Ignatius wanted to leave a lasting impression on this demon assassin and so he decided to show another one of his trump cards. Siphoning the energy from the lights, they turned off one by one until they reached the spot where he stood. "Catch'ya on the flip side." Ignatius grinned before gathering his will and shadow-stepped down to the first floor at the moment the lights turned off above him. As soon as he left that floor all power was returned, creating the illusion that the shadows took him. Even though there was a small puff of black smoke.
Once downstairs he got on his motorbike, it appeared as a simple harly-davidson but the engine hid strange technology that ran on a downgraded version of a plasma generator. It created a unique roar as it started up, a deep growl that wanted to be unleashed. "It's gonna be a busy week, so we'll be needing you to be at peak condition baby, cause I got that feeling we'll be cutting some close calls."
With that, Ignatius drove off, leaving his gear to confuse any law enforcement and allow him to hack their mainframe once they brought his tech in.

“I’m sure you will,” replied tFab over his shoulder as he entered the elevator. He then turned around to face Ignatius. “I have a strong feeling that you’ll be following me around subconsciously whether I want you to or not. Looks like we’re stuck with each other. And my mind is always open now that I have these damn visions in there all the time. Maybe you can help me figure out what they mean the next time we meet.”
tFab was about to press the down arrow button inside the car to shut the doors and take him down to the first floor when the lights in the room started to flicker off one by one. They continued in that fashion until they reached Ignatius and once the power had come back to the floor, he had vanished. All that remained of him was a faint wisp of black smoke.
“Heh, the guy sure likes to make a hasty retreat… Well, time’s a wastin’ and the night’s not getting any longer. Arriving at the museum under the cover of darkness will be my best bet for a stealthy entry. I don’t want the damn police on my tail, possibly literally, if things were to take a drastic turn for the worse.”
tFab then pressed the button and the elevator took him down to the first floor where he exited the building and made his way towards the museum carrying the silver case. It didn’t take him as long as he had thought to get to the large brick and granite building following the signs and arrows, (primarily because he was not currently a cat and could take much longer strides), and despite it being a bright, sunny day, the building did not look to be very active.
tFab grinned as he stood in front of the massive structure. “Perfect conditions for a stealthy entry. This will be nothing more than a quick snatch-and-dash mission.”
After he walked up to the front doors and finding them locked, he formed a fireball in his palm which quickly melted the handles. Since the lock mechanism also got melted, there was nothing to keep the doors tightly closed and they easily creaked open, allowing tFab to quietly slip inside. He was met with a large lobby that branched off into various hallways and a marble staircase that led up to a second floor where there were presumed to be more hallways. The whole area looked to be deserted.
“Great… Ignatius didn’t exactly tell me where the page would be located, only that it would be somewhere in this building. It’s going to take me hours to comb through these hallways looking for the damn thing. I might as well just…hello, what’s this?”
A particular hallway on the second floor immediately adjacent to the top of the staircase caught his interest. It had a gold plaque above the entrance that read:
ANCIENT TEXTS
“I guess that would be a good place as any to start looking,” mused tFab.
After he had tucked the silver case behind a few potted plants near the front doors to keep it hidden and so that he wouldn’t have to carry the thing through the museum, tFab walked up the stairs and entered the hallway.

A dark red flash cut through the dust as Brick's fist slammed down on Beserk's back. "As it turns out, I was lying to you. Ironic, huh?" He flipped her over and threw another punch in her gut.
"I'm a hero now. In fact, I have been for a few years, since I left that scum Him and his damned influence over me. That's not to say.." Brick brought his hand to her face, and an orb of glowing purple energy appeared, the heat radiating off of it singing the ground around them, "I've gotten any weaker."
Arken gave an obviously fake cough, hoping to get the two girls' attention.
Looking at the newcomer, he said "Right. Mandy is your name, is it? As much of a pleasure it is to meet you, I'm afraid I have something to discuss with Buttercup. Do you mind resuming your discussion another time? Sorry, but it's sort of important."
"Isn't it a bit rude to interrupt someone's conversation?" said the inner Arken.
Don't talk to me about rudeness, you. Arken replied.

Buttercup
Buttercup was startled out of her school memories by Arken's... cough.
She shuffled her feet, giving a wry smile to her old classmate.. Well, current classmate now, right?
She ducked under Arken's arm into his appartment, giving Mandy a small wave over her shoulder, unable to conceal her worry and anxiety anymore.
As her eyes darted over the room, Buttercup noticed remnants of what seemed to be more explosions. She cast a look behind her at Arken, making sure he was uninjured.
After assuring herself that, indeed, he was perfectly fine.... Perfect... Fine... No, stop it, pull yourself together girl! She sighed and sank into thte closest chair, dropping her head in her hands.
Following Buttercup, Arken turned his back to the other girl and walked into his room. He closed the door, made sure it was locked, and turned to find Buttercup sitting in a nearby chair. After walking silently to where she was, he fell to one knee beside her chair.
"Buttercup," he said. "Tell me what's troubling you. I want to help, no matter what the problem is."
Taking one of her hands from her face and holding ithem in his own, he pleaded with her, "Please, just tell me what's wrong."

Buttercup
Gazing down at Arken, knelt on one knee before her, Buttercup once more felt the urge to burst into tears. She clenched her hands tightly inside the clapse of his own, stronger ones.
"I..." she began, then bit her lip. Where do I even begin? she thought, fear and confusion, and anxiety all crossing her face.
I can't just blurt it out, can I? She shuddered, thinking of his reaction: a jaw drop, a look of disgust... She didn't want to imagine of it.
"I- it's not.. not important." she flushed, looking away.
Mandy watched as her conversation was cut short, her tongue between her teeth in mild anger. She knew she had interrupted the previous conversation, but she couldn't help it bubbling up. Her legs began to move once more, and she opted to put the whole thing behind her. Mandy pushed open the door to the stairwell and began her decent, thinking on the way. So the PowerPuff Girls are here, hm? Hopefully there's nothing strange going on here. I'd like to live a little peacefully, for the time being. She reached the bottom of the stairs and pushed out into the main lobby, squinting as she did. The light outside was bright and warm and Mandy had to raise her hand to block out the sun while she adjusted. When she finally reached the sidewalk, she took a quick scan and decided to head to what looked like a shopping area. I'll pick up some things while I'm down here. How I wish someone else could be doing this for me. I miss your servitude, Bonehead.
Berserk's barrel roll had thrown Blossom's energy bolts back at her, forcing the PowerPuff to spin trickily in the air to avoid her own attack. When she leveled back out again, Berserk and Brick had vanished, though their red trails still hung faintly in the air. Blossom streaked after them to find them in the woods.
Brick seemed to be overpowering Berserk, but it looked like he was about to deliver a death blow. Blossom needed Berserk alive to take into FBI custody, but an image of Brick's awful one sided fight with Bunny flashed through her mind. "Don't kill her," Blossom said, charging her hands with energy to allow for a stronger grip.
"I wasn't going to, just trying to let her know who she's messing with!" Brick wiped his mouth on his sleeve, and shot Berserk a dirty look. He grabbed berserk's arms and pulled her off the ground, but kept a firm grip.

The hallway was dimly lit by a few fluorescent lights stretching the length of the ceiling. tFab formed a small fireball in his palm to add some extra light as he walked down the corridor searching for the next clue.
“Geez, haven’t these people ever heard of proper lighting? It’s like I’m walking through a freakin’ morgue or something.”
He shivered just then, despite the heat coming from his hand.
“This is getting ridiculous…”
Meanwhile, approaching tFab from the opposite direction were two security guards, both of medium build and carrying standard-issued firearms. As they walked side by side, they glanced every so often at the valuable documents illuminated within the glass cases built into the walls of the hallway.
“I gotta tell you, Dave, this has got to be one of the most boring jobs I’ve ever had in my entire life,” said one of the guards. “We walk up and down these hallways all day long making sure that everything is where it should be, and we never see any action. It makes me wonder why our superiors even have us carry these pistols around with us.”
“I’ve been wondering the same thing myself, Hal. Hardly anyone walks through these hallways and the museum is mostly deserted anyway. Plus, why would anyone want to steal a bunch of old papers?”
--
tFab shook his head as he made his way deeper into the hallway.
“I don’t even really know what the hell I’m supposed to be looking for… Ignatius said that the next clue would be in this building somewhere, but should I be looking for an entire book or just a page? Heh, a sign or something would be nice…”

Berserk
"Ohh..." Berserk uttered as she was pulled off the ground. Brick held a firm grip, and although Berserk knew she should resist, but she didn't feel like it. She wanted to be sucked in.
"Take me away..." she said. Her auras were depleted, and her lack of energy made her fall onto Brick from tiredness.
She purred as she hit his chest, rather from the comfort than from attraction, and she latched herself onto Brick.
A surge of jealousy flooded through Blossom at the sound of Berserk's cooing. This is absurd, Blossom thought. Brick and I ended all those years ago when he left. But her mind flashed to her hairclip tucked away in his ballcap. Still, she pushed the feelings aside, pulled out her cellphone, and called Jules.
"Hey, Jules. Forget that search party. Brick and I have Berserk. We'll bring her in for questioning."
"Way to go, PowerPuff," Jules congratulated. "Bring her to the jailhouse. There are still some cells there equipped to hold supervillains."
"Gotcha," Blossom responded before hanging up and turning to Brick. "Well, you heard him. To the jailhouse."
(Soz about the late post Magic) On cue the previous page began to heat up, the ink began to run out and seeped into the shadows covering all in shadows. The page tFab held had acted as a key, allowing him to enter the shadowy world Ignatius walked through, for in this world there was no color. Only shades of black, white and hints of grey.
The now blank page began to burn, not of fire but of psykic energy that only activated when another source of similiar energy was nearby. Suddenly it dematerialized in tfab's hand, small particules of it lead the demon assassin to an old newpaper on display. It was barred by glass but even so the particules gave teh demon assassin one final warning before he could have to look at the next clue.
BEWARE THOSE WHO SEEK NOT THE DARKNESS BUT THE LIGHT
A hungering growl echoed through the shaded world, empty, devoid of reason. The shadows above tFab began to form a snarling dog-like creature not born of flesh and blood but of corruption and lies. With a howl the creature pounced from the ceiling and on to the ground in front of newspaper display.
[MAGIC, the creature ahead of you cannot be hurt by mundane weapons and your spells will not act like you think. The warning in bold is the clue to defeat the creature.]
As soon as things began to become Zim decided it was time for him to disappear.
"I would rather live for a few more years rather then die now by something flying." At least that is what he told himself when he had first left.
"Well it looks like that pizza place isn't going to be in business for awhile with that busted glass." Zim said to himself as he scrolled through the internet on a laptop in a WiFi hot spot Cafe about three blocks from the pizza joint.

Once Gaz relized the Irken was gone and was left with the purple girl she had no idea of what to do now so Gaz turned to get her things at the same time spoke to Bunny.
Brick couldn't suppress the blush that was rapidly developing, so he opted to hold Berserk with her arms behind her back. He was as vulnerable as any other male his age, but his history with both of the redheads in the vicinity quickly overpowered that mentality.
"Is a jailhouse really sufficient? She seems strong enuogh to break through such a flimsy thing as concrete, and with the lazy security at these prisons, I doubt it'd be a week before she was out again.."
Bunny-
"I'm not sure. She and Brick have a thing, so I figure if they get alone together there'll be a big fight, or it could go in the other direction" Bunny grimaced, she still didn't like the rowdyruffs, and the thought of Blossom with him was.. appalling.
"Best occupy ourselves." Bunny dug her foot into the ground, she wasn't good at socializing, "You like video games?"
Blossom took Berserk's other arm. It wouldn't be fair to Brick if he had to fly supporting all of her weight. Right. It's not because you want to rip her away from him at the slightest sign of a budding romance. God, where had this jealousy come from? "According to Jules," Blossom told Brick, "there are still some cells at the jail that can hold supervillains. At any rate, we don't have anywhere better to go."
Brick nodded, half in agreement and half in appreciation.
"Well then, Berserk, ready for your orange jumpsuit fitting?" He laughed a bit at his small joke, then took off, slowly at first, so Blossom could match his pace as they flew.
"I'm not going anywhere near that greasy head of yours, let alone those 'bows'." He wasn't immune to charm, but fighting it was easy, she was becoming less and less like Blossom each second.
"Those bows of yours will be the first things to go," Blossom scowled at Berserk. "And they'll be locked away in a lead box buried beneath concrete. Did you really think we'd let you keep your weapons?"
"Well from what I can tell from the security cameras," Zim muttered as he had gotten access to the cameras with his clearance.
"It appears that the Blossom look alike or who ever she is was taken by Brick and Blossom. Seems that they still have a bin to keep her locked up in."
Zim continued to scanned the area about the square and checked the area as best he could and nothing seemed to be unusual.. except for the fact that the pizza place was totalled.
I'm not a nazi!... I'm a hamster with food in my cheeks!
"I don't think so," Blossom growled, shooting after Berserk. She felt the fear, but Berserk had used this trick on her one too many times, and Blossom was beginning to feel the difference between real emotions and Berserk's illusions. Reaching out, Blossom grabbed Berserk by the hair, twisting her around and punching her in the gut with an energy charged fist.
Arken sighed slightly. This whole situation was beginning to frustrate him. However, he wasn't about to lose his cool just yet. He felt that with just a bit more patience, he could gather the truth from her.
But how will I go about doing that? he wondered. I feel like I've gotten very close , but she always stops herself at the last moment. I tried asking nicely, and that didn't work. I pleaded with her, and that failed as well. So, what now? Maybe...
"Come now, Buttercup." he said quietly. "I know that this is important. Keeping the truth from me won't help you." He drew his face up to her own. "So please, won't you tell me what's wrong?" He then kissed her softly, and after a moment broke away.

Buttercup
Buttercup blushed brightly, staring wide-eyed at Arken as her tears welled up once more. She shook her head, trying to think sensibly.
We only just met really for the first time... only recently... It's just.. So great, but.. moved so fast.. she placed her palm gently on her stomach. this feels so cliched, but I don't want to ruin what could be with news like this... without thinking, Buttercup finished her thought out loud
"...but you have the right to know." she clamped a hand over her mouth, surprised at her own voice. Tears fell silently onto her cheeks.
"I'm sorry... I- I tried to get the antidote.. I just can't take the power anymore. But the Professor... he.. I couldn't. He doesn't know what it would do to.. Well.." she sighed, she was babbling and she knew it. She decided on a different approach.
"Did you know that Powerpuff pregnancies are shorter than most normal humans'? Because I didn't, until I went to get the antidote." Not the most tactful way to tell him, but he would get it.
