Arken "Well, I don't know really." Arken said thoughtfully. "It happened a couple years ago, I know that much."
He thought back for a moment, then said "From what I can tell, from the last time I met her, she met this fellow named HIM. Or at least that's what he's called. I dunno what he did, but she's definitely planning some destruction, it seems."
He sighed and said "So many things have changed in such a short amount of time..."
Arken thought that question over. 'Villain' wasn't a title that he easily gave out. After a moment, he started to speak.
"Well... I'm not too sure. I know that whatever she's going to do, It probably won't be good for the city. However, I don't know why she's doing what she's doing. If I knew that, I could probably give you a better answer."
"Uhm......would you happen to know....where she is?"
She knew it was a long shot that he did, but she figured it wouldn't hurt to ask anyway. Any information at all would be helpful. Obviously, this place was mirrored to her own. So she NEEDED information concerning it all.
"I don't know exactly where she is." Arken replied. "If I did, I would tell you."
He paused, then said "All I know is that she's somewhere in this city. If you look around for a while, you'll probably find her. You'll recognize her when you see her. She called herself Catherine or "Rini" when I met her. Sorry I couldn't help you further."
"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" the other Arken asked.
Arken noticed Buttercup's cat running back into her room, like it knew what was about to happen. Arken never understood cats, but that was a story for another day.
"I suppose I could take you up on your offer." Arken replied. "Let me check to see if Buttercup is alright. You can follow, if you like."
With that, Arken walked into Buttercup's apartment. It was very similar to his. He looked around, and found Buttercup fast asleep on her bed, with her cat perched on top of her head. He shook her gently and said "Buttercup, wake up."
He stopped suddenly, recalling with amusement the incident that took place in a few years from now, when that boy Ketil tried waking her up. He decided not to disturb her any further, for he didn't feel like being punched out of a window.
Brat grimaced at the cat. She did NOT like cats, or any other animal really. But, she know that she had to face Buttercup at some point. Preferably before she lost her nerve. Tentatively, she followed Arken to Buttercup. Each step getting less and less confident. She gulped, hoping she didn't make the wrong decision.

tFab grinned up at Butch.
"You want to see something scarier, huh?"
tFab then ignited himself and let the reddish-orange flames envelope him and slowly grow in size as they reached up towards the sky. tFab then slowly approached Butch with a kind of crooked smile on his face, not with the intent to elicit a fight, but just to see Butch's reaction.
Villain. Certainly a villain. But she syas she sin't after me.. But what would a hero do? Just let her on her way? Then again.. I wouldn't call myself a hero. What to do?
Brick's eyes shifted to where she was looking, the place where the two bystanders had tried to hide.
But then, if she's after Rini.. I should probably just dissuade her. No one gets hurt.. except for this 'Brat'.. who dosen't seem like a particularly friendly type either..
"Let the two go. They weren't super, and weren't a threat. Let me help you find this.. Brat." Brick ended this in a penetrating stare, which he hadn't used himself for years.
"Hmm, This is certantly interesting. What do you plan to do Rini?"
HIM knew that Bubbles would want to keep an eye on them, which also benifited HIM as well. they were a threat to the plan, therefor must be turned on there side, or eliminated.
Bubbles widened her eyes in 'fright'. Obviously, since they had been found out, she had to make it look like she was still afraid.
HIM, we've been spotted. It's okay though, we can still observe. Hmmmm, so he's willing to help the villain eh? Knew he hadn't changed. I'll have to take him out eventually. As for the other one......leave her to me as well. Unfinished business I guess.
Bubbles sighed, obviously she was going to have to deal with alot more than she thought.
Interesting abilities though. When the time comes, it'll be an interesting fight.
Bubbles, don't let this get personal, things never turn out to well when things get personal...but I trust you. I have trained and raised you well, and have no doubt in your abilities. When you think the time is right, I'll be behind you 100% of the way.
For a second, Bubbles faltered in her disguise. A small smirk graced her features, proud and determined.
"Sure thing Allen."
That means alot to me HIM, thanks. And don't worry, I'll keep a level head. No need for things to be over complicated. I'm just saying, I'll take care of them.
Bubbles knew that HIM probably wouldn't understand why she was so set on dealing with the Punk. She didn't really care though, afterall, it was her past. Her business. No need to involve HIM. She had to admit though, this fight was getting fun to watch.
But for how much longer, she had no idea. Afterall, their position had been compromised.
Brute continued to blush at the cuddling and kissing from Butch all the while her mind turned to mush then came back together again, and then to mush once more. She didn't know if this was real, if any of this was true... 'Is he just trying to make sure I don't kill him or someone else?' The PowerPunk thought doubtfully. Though after drifting in and out of her thoughts she caught on to the Demon Fire Cat, she nodded absent mindfully as she registered his name and form. Even though she was staring out into space like she had been starstruck.. maybe this was love?
Blinking she glared slightly at the thought of Buttercup, but then looked into Butch's sad eyes... "Alright then.. I'll help my pathetic look-a-like... only because you're too... sweet, Butch." She whispered the "sweet" part as she didn't want the fire cat hearing her and ruining her reputation... "Whenever your ready Butch!" She spoke as she hugged the RowdyRuff.

Butch
Butch was frightened by the demonic figure, but surmised no harm would come to him, since it was a friend from the future. He shivered into Brute from a little fear, but her warmness calmed him.
"Actually... thinking about this... Brute is quite pretty, and she's nice and comforting to hold. I might date this girl..." Butch thought, struggling to take his eyes of the demon, although trying to focus on Brute so he could take her in.
Berserk
"So... you're willing to help, that's interesting... why would you want to help me? I mean, it seems like you are a villain, seeing as you terrorized those people, yet a heroic aura comes from you and you were willing to let them go. You're a strange one, that's for sure, but no matter. I'd accept help!" Berserk said.
Berserk flew closer to Brick and scanned him, looking up and down with her eyes.
"What do you want in return?" she asked, skeptical he'd do it for free.

tFab grinned upon seeing that he had successfully caused Butch to feel a little frightened.
"Heh, there's no reason to be afraid of me. I'm not the enemy and neither are you." The cat demon then extinquished his flames and tilted his head at Butch.
"According to Brute, we only need your readyness before we can start looking for Buttercup. Finding her will be the first step to locating the rest of the girls. Huh, I wonder if Bell is somewhere in this city too? With luck, she might be close by."
Brick easily caught the suspicion, and it was only natural.
"Simple. After I find your 'friend', you will help me find and old one of mine."
Brick's memory immediateley flashed to his black-haired brother, his devilish green eyes piercing his memory. "I'll explain later. But in the meantime, what hints can you give me to help?"
Quite a bit of time had passed before Arken realized that Buttercup wasn't going to wake up anytime soon. He thought of some way to wake her up. He didn't want to shake her awake, because he'd probably get attacked. He didn't try shouting, because he might alarm someone living in other parts of the building. He went through multiple ideas that were destined to fail... Until he saw the cat, Bruce, still perched on Buttercup's head.
He thought for a minute, mulling over how strange this would seem in his mind, but decided to give it a shot anyway. He leaned in closer, looked at the cat, and said quietly:
"Hey. Be a good cat and wake her up for us, will you?"
The cat, in an apparent show of understanding, got off of Buttercup and jumped gracefully to the floor. It walked past Arken and Brat, then stopped. Suddenly, it took off at a run back towards his owner, pounced back onto her head, and started yowling loudly. Arken couldn't help but chuckle. With the cat practically howling, and now pawing around atop Buttercup's skull, she was bound to wake up.
I never will understand cats, Arken thought, But they're pretty damn funny.
Brat stared at the cat as if it had grown two more heads. She really didn't like cats. Or animals in general. Wrinkling her nose and covering her ears, she stared at Buttercup's form.
Damn cat, its CRAZY. I hope she isn't too mad waking up.....
All she could do though was wait. So, trying to ignore the cat she wanted to blast to kingdom come, she patiently waited.
Buttercup groaned and rolled over, falling off her bed and jolting awake.
"What the --?!...Oh... It's you." she said, almost growling. "What do you want then? I haven't got all day, you know!" she snapped, wiping the half-dried tears from her face, trying not to show how tired she was.
God, she was so tired. Tired of stupid people. Tired of crimefighting. Tired of living alone without her favorite sister. Then this girl shows up, trying to be Bubbles? No. No freakin' way was she going to accept that.
Despite Buttercup's unpleasantness, Arken managed a smile. He might as well lighten up while he was here, right?
"Come on, girl. Don't be so grouchy all the time." He said cheerfully. "Lighten up once in a while, will you? Life's too short to be so serious, unless you're me."
He pointed over to Brat and said "Our new neighbor has invited us both over to her place. I wanted to wake you up and see if you wanted to come."
Arken walked over to Buttercup and grabbed her hand. "You should join us." he said, pulling her off of the ground. "You look like you could use some company."
"Allow me to elaborate.......My name is...Brat Plutonium......Hello......"
Brat bowed lowly, ducking nervously.
"S-sorry I took her name....I didn't know this was where I was.....>< And....I admired Bubbles alot.......But I heard.....uhm......well yeah.....s-sorry for......bothering you."
Clenching her eyes tightly shut, Brat prepared for the worst. Who knew what THE Buttercup would do to her now?
"Hey, hey, calm down, Buttercup." Arken said. "This is just a friendly invitation from a new neighbor. Don't be so tense, she's not going to attack you or anything."
He smiled at her, failing to notice he was still holding Buttercup's hand.
"Come on, Buttercup." He said. "It wouldn't kill you to join us, would it?"
Buttercup looked up at Arken, seeing for the first time his features. He wasn't bad-looking, as far as men go, but BC had sworn off men ever since those RowdyRuff Boys showed up. But something about him made her... calmer.
"Fine, whatever," she said gruffly. "Lets go then."

Berserk
"I knew it Brink... they ALWAYS want something in return, don't they. I'll help you find your friend, but I cannot wait to just GET THAT BRAT!" Berserk shouted, fond of the pun she made.
"In case you didn't know, she's blonde, has piercing blue eyes, is all goody-goody and wants to be a hero, but I think is failing miserably. She think's she's the leadery type too, and is really smart. She used to wear similar clothes to me, but I don't know if it's the same costume anymore... and I know what you're thinking... there will be NO investigating my clothes." Berserk growled, believing Brink would try to do something to her.
Berserk motioned Brink to follow, and began to speed into the sky.
A red beam seared the sky, writing in the sky: "I'll get you BRAT!"
Butch
"Thanks Brute... that's really nice of you. Buttercup was my worst enemy and I think I need to make amends to her." Butch explained. He kept smiling at Brute everytime he looked at her.
God, I'm so lucky. Maybe I'm taking this the completely wrong way... maybe I SHOULD be her boyfriend. I don't know yet though... can't play my cards too soon.
"Well, now that we established who is the Rowdyruff and who is the demon, I think you're right. Seeing as you probably have better knowledge of the heros around here, seeing as you've probably live here along time, I suggest you lead the way stranger." Butch said, although he knew the 'stranger' would know him well enough for him to trust him.
