"Oh! That's right, you've never seen what I look like before now." Ryan said.
"My name's Ryan. Maybe you recognize it?" he said.
He was really surprised to meet Kat here. What was she doing in a place like this? And if she's here, is there anyone else around that he already knew? And what's with the wings?
Kat's eyes widened and a broad grin lit up her face.
She squealed happily and rushed the distance seperating them to tacklehug her friend.
"RYAAAAAAAAAN! EEEEEEEE! It's so cool that you're heeeeeeeere!" Kat hugged her friend so tightly, she thought she might choke him.
Her whole body was glowing brightly, like a content star (google search the movie Stardust, if you don't get that), and she had stopped fading in and out.
"This. Is. So. Awesome! Oh, well I know why you look so lost now." she grimaced, her joy momentarily clouding over. She sighed, letting go of her friend to look him over.
She giggled, noting some slightly tousled hair. "You look like you just got out of bed. And daaaaaaaaaamn, stupid tall people." she stuck her tongue out at him and took his hand, "Come on, Tom may be able to explain things better than me."
Suddenly, Leyla was in the same hallway as Kat, Tom and Ryan.
"Oh hai guys! I can magically find people too!"
Leyla was really bored, lazily leaning against the counter. She yawned once and her eyes drooped slightly, seemed she hadn't gotten as much sleep as she thought. Just as she was about to doze off, she noticed Toadie looking extra alert about something. He gave her a pleading look to which she answered with a shrug.
"What is it?"
She didn't have time to question the kitty-dog further however, as she was soon face to face with one of her missing OCs.
"......Lina?"
The pixie cringed in the doorway, hesitantly turning to face the confused half Turk. She glared, but it was a weary gaze at best.
"Hey...do you have any idea why I can see you right now? Or where in the fucking hell I am at the moment?"
Funny thing about Lina, she was once forced to become that which she hated most. A Preppy girly and all together annoying evil pixie. Now that she was free of that, mostly, she felt the need to assert to everyone that she WASN'T that kind of girl anymore. Even if she had found a happy medium between the two personalities.
Flicking some of her long blonde hair out of the way, she watched Toadie with a weary eyes.
"And who the hell is that?"
Leyla sighed, shrugging.
"So...you and Lilly are both out here.....maybe the others are as well...."
Lina stiffened at the name, growling slightly.
"Oh....her."
Leyla rolled her eyes, never fully understanding what had happened to split apart the two girls in the first place. To her knowledge, they had been almost best friends.
"Yeah...I'm not sure what's happening, but I do know that you can't just wander about willy nilly. I think you should come back into my head...before something happens."
Lina scoffed and was about to protest before she was suddenly being hurled towards Leyla. Limbs flailing, she eventually smacked right into Leyla who immediately imagined taking her back into her head as she had the first time.
Damn, back in HERE. Who the hell did that?
That's what Leyla and Toadie wanted to know. So, holding her head, Leyla turned to locate the perpetrator. Her now exttremely exhausted eyes widened as she spotted the fiery redhead herself.
"Little bitch needed to learn not to argue with you. Everyone else is loose in this house? I'm on it, its been SO boring here lately."
All Leyla could do was nod at Lilly. Arguing with a bored Fox demon in her state could be disastrous.
"Go easy on them Lilly....."
The fox demon merely smirked.
"Suuuuure....oh, and I saw your little Boyfriend and you Best Friend together somewhere down the hall. Might wanna investigate."
And with a wink, she had disappeared leaving Leyla shocked.
"...what the fuck...?"
Picking up Toadie, she wearily made her exit mumbling about crazy fox demons with the wrong idea.

"Well... what do you want me to explain... this is a competition in the future, where a stupid machine glitched and took most of the clan here, into a house, where we do stupid challenges and try to stay in to secure a fortune for our future which is likely to be here. Legally however, this whole ordeal on taking us without our permission had nothing illegal about the matter, so we're all stuck here until we get evicted... IF we get evicted. Crazy robots and futuristic gadgets are a nice touch however." Tom said. "If you want me to explain about the challenge we have now, it's a dance competition, and you pair up with somebody or one of the provided robots if you can't find a partner, and you dance anything, selecting your music while you are at it. I can't seem to find a partner... I probably won't enter anyway." Tom finished.
"Any questions?" Tom asked, before sighing and picking up some grass from the floor. "This stuff looks much less green than it used to be." Tom pointed out.
Leyla groaned, already she was beginning to regret finding Lina. It probably wouldn't have been so bad, the only problem was that Lilly had gotten involved when capturing her. Now the agitated pixie wouldn't shut up about Lilly in her head.
Oooo that girl, when I get my hands on her! UGGH! She's going down! That....that bitch! I didn't even get a choice dammit! What if I wanted to be free again! Why didn't you take HER back! Aww man! Now I won't be able to see Yeti again on my own! This SUCKS! She is soooo dead later! I - [/i]
Leyla sighed, rubbing her temples roughly as she walked. Toadie narrowed his eyes in irritation, but remained quiet in her arms.
Shut up Lina. You can't just un around like that, look, I'm sorry it had to be like this but you wouldn't have had much fun here anyway. This is some weird game show...in the future. We're stuck here and we have no idea how to get back to our time. So, even if you COULD see Yeti it would be a Yeti WAY in the future. I'm telling you, we did you a favor by putting you back in here. As for Lilly, well she's an official contestant. Still, I'll be getting her back just as soon as I get everyone else. Don't think she's escaping.
Lina said nothing, but the explanation seemed to calm her down a lot. Toadie mewled in relief, now padding across the floor directly ahead. He didn't like to be held for too long it seemed. He looked at her wearily, then nodded his head in a particular direction. She shrugged, then began to follow him.
Where are we going?
Toadie almost smiled a mischievous kitty smile.
To find Kat and Tom of course.
Leyla groaned in frustration, rolling her eyes, as Toadie laughed at her. Regardless, she allowed herself to be lead by Toadie.
Zach sighed and leaned backwards against the counter.
"My ambition.. great. Tom's given me another thing to sleep on." Zach took off his apron and threw it on top of the fridge, and promptly left, hands in his pockets.
"That guy's too philisophical. Maybe if he said something stupid once in a while." Zach chuckled to himself, then rounded the corner to the living room, and threw himself down on the couch. "Looks like I'm the only one not doing the dance competition. I guess I'm out for sure."
Leyla frowned, getting the feeling that Toadie was just leading her around in circles.
"Toad...."
Toadie mewled as a simple 'Yes?' and turned to look at her.
"....where are you really taking me....?"
Toadie merely grinned at her in his kitty-dog manner before turning back around and leading her through more hallways.
"....you're just leading e in circles aren't you....."
Toadie shrugged, flickering an ear in annoyance. Leyla merely frowned, sighing in frustration.
"FINE. You don't have to take me anywhere! I can find my own way around...."
She was cut off by the laughter shining in Toadie's eyes, and she had to hold herself back from arguing with the poor thing.
Do you even know where to find them?
Leyla frowned, shaking her head slightly.
"No...I don't know where anything really is in this house.....Only places I know for sure are the kitchen, my room, and the living room....."
Toadie gave her a pointed look to which she merely sighed.
"I know...I need to learn how to navigate....but couldn't I just....IMAGINE...myself with them?"
She shivered at the thought, obviously not ready to use her powers again so soon. Toadie seemed to notice her concern and padded over to her. Petting his head absently, Leyla sighed again.
"Guess not huh....so you're saying I should learn to move here on my own?"
Toadie nodded, yawning slightly.
"You're tired...let me carry you."
She picked up the kitty-dog, who fell asleep almost instantly. Leyla frowned, not sure what she should do now.
Start from where you know dummy.
Though she didn't appreciate the 'dummy' comment, Leyla figured that Lina was right. She might as well head to a point where she knew where she was going.
"I was already in the kitchen.....based on my location so far I'd say the living room would be the closest. "
Shrugging, she figured it was worth a shot. Cradling Toadie, Leyla made her way through the halls again. She was still pretty tired from everything, and knew that a break in the living room would be good.
"Alright......lets see...this way I think...."
She got the feeling something was following her again and couldn't help but be a little scared. Then, she remembered what had happened the last time she let her imagination run wild and shivered. She had to keep calm no matter what, so she shook off the feeling and turned the corner.
I know where I am..it should be right around here...
Sighing, she realized that she was FINALLY within some familiar ground. She thanked Lina, then marched over to one of the couches. Gently, she put Toadie down before plopping into a seat as well.
I think I'm going to relax here......I don't really care what's happening at the moment, prolly drama llama stuff again. I've had enough of that for one day.....
Kat looked over at Ryan's face to see if he understood what was going on.
She bit her lip, worried, "So... Yeah, the future..."
"Uh, I have a question Tom," Kat tilted her head, "A few, anyway... Like, why aren't you entering the contest, and where's my room?" she blushed, "That is, if you know the answers...."

"Well... your room is probably the one that has just been assembled on the side of the housing quarters, by those confused looking construction robots, and they'll probably stick a name on your door when they're done. As for the competition, I haven't asked anybody and I haven't been asked. Besides, I need to get a closet to change my clothing. I cannot dance in armor." Tom said, before hitting his armor with his fists and making a metallic sound which rang vibrato for a short while.
"It just sounds like it would be a fun contest to try out." she smiled.
"I like to dance... I'm not very good, but I can do a simple waltz, and I know a few coregraphed dances that we had fun with at camp."
Kat's foot began to tap to the beat of a song in her head. She hummed quietly, a few bars of Almost Easy, as she snapped her fingers, looking through her clothes for pockets where an iPod might be.

Tom
"I probably will go, but I don't have a partner, so that's not possible for me at the moment. Who are you thinking of going with, if anybody at all?" Tom asked.
Then, turning so his back was visible to Ryan but not Kat, he subtly moved one of his hands and made a gesture to Ryan:
Ryan coughed a bit, noticing Tom's little gesture. Go to a dance competition? With Kat? Though he had to admit that the idea wasn't exactly a bad one, he wasn't sure if she would be so enthusiastic. Still, wouldn't hurt to ask her about it. He turned to her and cleared his throat to get her attention.
"Well..." he began, trying to get the words out. "If you...don't have a partner yet, I'd...be happy to go with you to the competition. Though, I honestly can't dance all too well."
Zerb walked into the house and noticed that it had a few more rooms. "Oh great more people in an already crowded house. Like we need anymore." He said to himself and groaned and headed off to go shot things on the game console he had asked for earlier from making it this far in the competition.
I'm not a nazi!... I'm a hamster with food in my cheeks!
"AUGH!" Zach yelled as he flipped over on the couch, burying his head in the throw pillow. "Being the lazy one is hard work!"
Come to think of it, everyone's got titles on these kinds of shows. Heh. Maybe we should get together and discuss titles, like, 'the smart one', 'the crackhead', 'the bitch'.. nah, those are too cliche..
Wait.. what was I thinking about?
I would love some pop-tarts right now.
Do they have world of warcraft in this future? I haven't seen a single damned videogame since I got here..
Heh heh. Gypsies..
[This is an ACTUAL conversation I had with myself earlier today.]
Leyla stared at Zach for awhile, he looked really really bored. She wondered if she should say anything to him, he never seemed to want to talk to her normally, but she figured she should give it a shot.
Leyla frowned, then slumped into the couch further.
".....guess not...."
Sighing, she wished she knew what to talk about. Usually she was pretty good at starting a conversation.
But what......what should I talk about....what if he doesn't want to talk! Dammit, this sucks. We're both going crazy and now we have nothing to talk about.
While she was fretting about craziness, Toadie had gotten up and snuck off to go and find Kat on his own. Lina noticed, but didn't alert Leyla. Instead, she merely pouted and grumbled about being stuck in Leyla's 'confetti filled skull'.
Leyla laughed a bit at that, then thrrew her hands into the air.
"Confetti! Of course!"
And then the living room was a mess of confetti, bits and pieces of it still falling from nowhere. It was only until after she had already sprung the confetti that Leyla realized maybe a room full of confetti wasn't such a good idea.

Tom
"Well... I'll leave you two love-birds alone." Tom joked before leaving the outdoors and going through a door to the indoors. He headed towards the living room, attempting to get away from Ryan and Kat only to notice a large amount of confetti all over the floor.
"Okay... how did this happen?" Tom asked with confusion, and noticing Leyla was moving it all into piles, Tom helped her out, before using the mass converter in his suit and making it an improvised vacuum cleaner, taking the confetti off the floor and into his suit. There was a lot of it, but his suit easily compressed it until all of it was gone.
Leyla was really confused, somebody was hugging her. Blinking, she noticed that all the confetti was gone as well.
When did that........
She shrugged a bit, deciding that she must have just zoned out again. She had been doing that alot lately, but hopefully that would stop soon. It was probably just stress and whatnot from that other place anyways. She blinked again, slowly, before finally connecting what was going on.
"OH! Tom!"
Yes, Tom was hugging her. It was still a little weird, remembering that all of her friends were here together in this house. She wasn't really complaining though, I mean, meeting all of her friends like this was really exciting. She hadn't really gotten to express that much, but she was going to try.
"Uh...sure....I was just being bored with Zach there."
She pointed to Zach, then retrieved the pillow he had thrown at her.
"I think you dropped this."
She flung the pillow back at him, grinning. Then, she smiled at Tom.

"Umm... I don't think so... you just seem sleepy. Thanks for the confetti. The more mass I get into this suit, the more I can use its power!" Tom thanked Leyla for generating substance for him to use.
Tom realised he was wearing his armor... and seeingly Leyla smiling, felt that the suit that hid him from everyone else seemed to be doing more harm than good.
I'll at least take off the helmet. When I go back in my room... I'll get an instant-changing closet to get some decent clothing
Tom slid off the helmet from his head before chucking it into his backpack with a swift motion.
Tom's eyes stayed on Leyla for a moment, and he smiled back at her.
Leyla didn't really know what to do now. Tom had said that she hadn't missed much, and she didn't really know anything else that they could talk about. Still, being the talkative loudmouth that she was, felt like she had to say something.
"...uh.....cool suit Tom! Where'd you get it?"
Awww he smiled, how nice!
She liked it when people smiled, seeing Tom smile only made her smile more. It was a pleasant change from what had been going on lately for her. Her smile faltered for a moment, thinking about it, but she shook it off. She had left that place. She would would have to toughen up and get through it. She'd handle it herself.

"Don't you remember yesterday? I was wearing it? Oh... well, you were sleepy. You probably don't remember... I wouldn't," Tom said, and then he noticed Zach was in the room still, looking at him in what Tom interpreted as a lazy manner.
Tom decided he'd have to ignore him for a while. If he wanted to say something, he could.
Tom felt a poke... or rather a stubbing against his armor. Leyla had tried to poke him. Tom wasn't sure what that meant. Or whether it even had meaning.
Tom looked confusingly at Leyla.
"Hey... there's a dance competition. You might have been told about it.... umm... has anybody asked you for partner yet?" Tom said, starting confidently but within mid sentance switching his tone to a more passive and quiet one.
"Yes, I remember a little bit yesterday. But I asked you HOW YOU GOT IT. Jeeze Tom! I don't forget things THAT quick! SHUT UP!"
She was a little bit hurt at what he had implied, she knew she forgot things sometimes. Still, she didn't want him to point it out, especially not in front of other people. Sighing, she pouted slightly and looked away from Tom. Her inner Kat told her something and she inwardly nodded. Alright then.

"Oh... I thought you didn't recognise it." Tom said, releasing the hug, with a really sorry expression on his face. "And usually... I don't remember things when I'm sleepy... I'm not taking this against you at all..." he stuttered out. "Anyway... I got this suit from a bloody gathering of temporal protectors that somehow I got involved in... I have no real idea why they even gave it to me." Tom said, and then he just stopped talking abruptly.
Tom felt dead inside, so he simply sat down and stared the cieling.

"Well... of course it isn't your house. It's the property of the damn reality show we're in!" Tom replied to Leyla, cursing the reality show for the pain it was causing him.
"You didn't answer my previous question? Were you asked to the dance by anyone?" Tom asked her, not sure whether she wasn't willing to answer the question or whether she just didn't get round to it.
