Sig caught the boy. "Any idea what happened to him? Looks like a first year I don't reconize him." Zerb said examining the boy as he sent a call down to the infirmary via his watch.
"Do you reconize him Devlin?" Sig asked as the medical staff arrived to take over.

Kiba
As the medical staff picked Kiba up, his eyes glowed from under his bangs. veins popped out as Kiba screamed in agony. It was then that a black aura, visible to everyone around surrounded Kiba. Kiba's bangs spread, so now his eyes was revealed. a sickm twisted grin came upon his face as Kiba looked up. Hie yellow eye looked sick, whiel his blue eye...it looked in pain. Kiba laughed as he easily shook the medical staff away. Darcia's insanity had seemed to react when Devlin was near.
"You scream...I scream...we all scream...FOR BLOOD!"
Laughing hysterically, Kiba placed his right hand on the wall. emmidatly, a sizzlin gsoudn could be heard as the spot where Kiba's hand was dissagrated into nothing. Flexing his hand, Kiba laughed.
"Sooo, who's next?"
Devlin
Devlin saw the transformation take place. Never before had he ever seen anythign quite like it. The aura coming from this boy...it was so thick, it was usffocating.
"Zerb! We have to detain him, I don;t know whi he is, but he;s dangerous!"

After running for what seemed like hours up and down the halls, Demonika finally found the gym.
I really hope we're not too late!
When Demonika stepped into the gym, she was positively amazed at all the other first year students and their unique and frightening powers. She felt like she might get lost among the vast crowd. So she focused her power and listened carefully, hoping to find the mental voice of someone familiar, or at the very least, a friendly mental voice. Demonika was close enough to the doors that she could here the people approaching this room. She almost thought that she heard her uncle Devlin for a second.
Did he just say that he was PROUD of you? Luna wondered in mock surprise. Wow, he's really laying it on thick with the nice guy act!
Demonika shushed her canine companion to try listening closer, but Devlin and the other man he had been speaking to had stopped talking and had moved too far from the doors for Demonika to hear their mental voices anymore.
Just as she was about to turn around and melt back in with the crowd, she thought she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. Yet, she had stopped focusing so that all of the thoughts blurred together and she could not pick out the mental voice of whoever was behind her. So Demonika turned around to face the stranger who was addressing her.
Sig chuckled and placed his hands against a metal pole and absorbed the metal into his entire body. "Looks like this will be going he hard way cause I can't get to the elements within a human's body. But I can manipulate the elements around me to keep that sizzling affect." Sig said as he charged forward and placed a punch into Kiba's forehead one of the main points he hand learned about in the Marines.
Sig jumped back, "Looks like this well be one fun fight." he chuckled as he prepared for what looked like a tough fight.

Kiba
Kiba laughed as Zerb punched him. Grabbing ahold of Zerb's armwith his left hand before he stepped back from the punch, Kiba's body turned the color of metal.
"How fun! I can do somethign liek that too! Now then, lets see eho's better at it, eh teach!?"
Laughing, Kiba jumped into the air, and sent a metal punch to Zerb's head.
"I love the smell of blood in the morning!"
Kiba's right eye glowed again as he insanity grew. It was now powerful enough to be fealt by those around him...unimanginible insanity.
Eliza had almost walked past the fracas in the hall. Fights were nothing new at Sky High, and Eliza had mostly managed to avoid the scuffles. But the this fight was different. Two teachers fighting what must have been a first year - Eliza had never seen him before.
But she had seen the deranged expression on his face. She knew it all too well.
Reflexively, ignoring Mr. Surda and Mr. Johnson, she zapped the kid's metal fist with a bolt of lightning just strong enough to knock him back. Once he hit the floor, she altered the air pressure around him - low behind and high in front - to force him against the lockers as she approached.
"My name is Eliza Paine," she said, stepping between the two teachers. "Please, tell me what's doing this to you. Perhaps we can help each other." She would do anything to learn to control her own insanity.

Kiba
Kiba laughed as he was slammed to the lockers.
"Help? HELP!? YOU CAN"T HELP ME! NO ONE CAN! DARCIA'S INSANITY LIES WITHIN ME, IT'S APART OF ME! NO ONE CAN HELP THE DAMNED! NO ONE!"
Kiba's left eye clsed in pain as his right widened with sick twisted glee.
"Insanity...insanity...I AM INSANITY INCARNATE!"
Kiba struggled to break free from the lockers, but could not. He was too close range ot use his orbs. If he corroded the lockers, that wouldn't do himany good either. tears streamed from Kiba's left eye. Kiba simply whispered
"I am damned...I was damned from the moment I asorbed Darcia...hehehahahaha! DARCIA!"
Darcia? The name sounded familiar, like something from a legend. Perhaps Eliza's father would know something about it?
But right now, the boy was the concern. Now that Eliza had stepped closer, she could see that only his golden eye burned with insanity. The blue eye pleaded for salvation. "If you absorbed whatever is causing this, then you are neither insanity incarnate or damned. You can be helped." She needed to believe that for her own sake.
In the back of her mind, it occurred to her that the boy's rational conciousness was probably terrified by her eyes glowing gold as they were now. The strength she inherited from her father would probably be enough to hold him in place, so she released her control on the air, taking the boy by the arms as her eyes returned to their normal light green. "I need you to calm down. Can you tell me your name?"
A boy with an obviously unemotional face walked up, drawn to the noise. He wasn't going to say anything, nor did he have to. He was observing the rather insane first year, considering he was causing enough ruckus to attract two teachers and another student his way. Really, he just wanted to be part of the action. If things got out of hand, he could just split into One and Two again.
"You know its funny, I don't bleed in forms like this." Zig said shaking his head and laughed at the first years mistake and closed his eyes and began to twist and shape the metal around the boy and that now was part of the boy.
The metal began to twist and melt at a high temperature and he then cooled it off quickly and caused Kiba to be stuck in the shape of a ball. The weight of the metal alone should have held him.
"Get him into the detention room NOW!" Zig said as he had two more medical staff who rolled the student into the room preventing any and all powers.
"School year hasn't even started and we've already got on student stuck in the det room eh?" Zig said

Jonathan was intrigued. 'Kiba' had transitioned from a wall-melting monster to a pleading, normal person, by this girl. The fact that he had to introduce himself meant they hadn't known each other prior, so he was pacified by kindness. He had a personality type superpower, like himself, but was unable to control it without outside force. This was a first year he found interesting.
In fact, he caught himself staring intently at the boy. Quick to avoid the notice, he took a step back, and shifted his attention to the girl. She wasn't exactly remarkable, her appearance hinted at no superhuman abilities. It's as if she wanted to be a normal person, or something like that. He withdrew this thought, however, he told himself he was overthinking it.
The boy - Kiba was his name - had calmed down, his snowy hair falling forward to hide his animalistic eye. Now, he was looking at Eliza with such hope and disbelief in his blue eye, that she was nearly overwhelmed. The norm for her was instant dislike. Most people took one look at her, hated her, and rationalized their feelings later. But Kiba...
"I think we might be able to help each other," she told him, a small smile pulling at the corner of her mouth. "I've also been having fits of insanity. Maybe there's a common denominator?" She glanced at the clock on the wall. "But Power Placement is in a few minutes. You're a first year, right?"
Eliza glanced at Mr. Surda, a silent thanks for his trust, and then turned to Kiba. She talked as they walked towards the gym. "My fits have been happening about since I powered up, though my parents and I are trying to figure if there's another cause. There probably is since I don't go insane every time I use my powers."
They entered the gym, and Eliza winced at the sound of her heels on the wood. Subtly, she created thin cushions of air between her soles and the floor, gold flecks emerging in her green irises. There was already a small group of freshmen gathered around the raised platform that would serve for about half of them to be the scene of the most acute humiliation they would feel here. Eliza had been lucky to escape that, having been originally placed as a Hero. She was required to attend the ceremony when she was held back and placed in the Villain class, but she hadn't had to display her powers. Her placement was already sealed.
"You should get over there," she said to Kiba now, nodding towards the students. "People don't like me very much. You probably don't want to be around me any more than you have to."
Jonathan had silently followed the two, slipping into the bleachers as soon as they entered the gym. The boy was well enough -he certainly wanted to see his placement- but he found himself drawn to the girl. Nothing physical, but something about her intrigued him, and Jonathan was terrible at stifling his curiosity.
She seemed to have low self-esteem, despite having an incredible degree and control of her power, which in this school was an excuse for an immense ego. Perhaps she had done something wrong, and won't forgive herself for it, perhaps she was a villain, but didn't want to be. Jonathan slapped his forehead, he was overthinking it again.

Kiba
Kiba only chuckled.
"I don't mind being arouns someone who people don't like if you don't mind being around a person with a bright yellow eye."
As HE spoke, Kiba lifted his bangs, revealing his right eye. After a second, it let his bangs drop over it again.
"I've been liek this since I can remember...you see I was born with the power to absorb things. Shortly after, Darcia attacked our town. HE was widly beleived to be insanity itself, so inorder to save the town, I was used. I was supposed to absorb all of Darcia's essence, but that didn't turn out to well. All of Darcia's insanity became locked in my eye, and no and again, it escapes, and makes me insane...and it constatnly hurts."
This was the first time Kiba had shared his story with anyone...he fealt he could trust this girl, considering she was going rhough somethign similair to him.
"'Ey!" Martyr called to the two standing near the entrance of the gym, "We kindof have a thing to do over here! Finish up your business and join the class!"
Eliza cocked her head as she looked at Kiba's yellow eye. It actually kind of looked like a... wolf's eye? She was about to comment on it when someone called out to them, a red-headed freshman. "Go," Eliza said to Kiba. "You need to be placed." Turning away from him, she went to the bleachers and sat a few rows up to be slightly above the raised platform.
That was when she saw Jonathan by the doors to the gym. He and Eliza would have been in the same class had Eliza not been held back. Eliza couldn't recall if he had any friends, though she suspected his own company was enough for himself. When he split into One and Two, they rarely left each other's side. Still, she kept her body language open and welcoming should he decide to socialize.
(OOC: he stopped me after I made the post.. go read my ooc post in the thread, the posts didn't register on my computer that day.)
Sig took a seat in the stands having changed back to human form. It would be interesting to see who would be placed where and who would pass his class this year.
"I figure that Kiba kid might pass.. if he can keep his head level and calm." He said to himself knowing how some of the materials they worked with could be quite explosive.
I'm not a nazi!... I'm a hamster with food in my cheeks!
"Demonika? Whossat?" Martyr turned, overhearing Devlin. He hadn't been in this town much, so the 'prodigies and such were completely unbeknownst to him.
Jonathan- Jonathan waited calmly for Eliza at the doorway. He hadn't actually met this girl, though she looked about his age, and he had seen her about in school. He would, of course, try to socialize, if it wasn't for the fact that he rarely spoke. He managed to muster up the will as he came up behind her, under the bleachers.
"Hello." He said in his monotonic voice.

Eliza gave Jonathan a small smile. She wasn't entirely used to interaction, and the action felt slightly foreign to her. "Hey, you came to see Power Placement, too?" Hm. It was slightly awkward talking to someone beneath her through the bleachers... "Why don't you come up and sit?"
Jonathan said nothing, but changed into a lizard a crawled up onto the seat, transforming back to himself. He moved a bit farther from Eliza, he was always nervous around new people. "Any.. friends?" Jonathan hoped she took this in the way he had meant it: if she had any friends being placed at the moment, not if she was a loner. To clarify this, he gave a short nod to the other students. He didn't want to ruin his first impression.
"Uh, kinda," Eliza answered. It was slightly comforting she wasn't the only one unsure about this conversation. "The boy with the white hair, Kiba. What about you?"

Spinning like a boulder came the shelled creature. He sped down the hallway before deploying in his normal self at his locker. He quickly span the combination and took out the books he'd need for the day.
"Luckily, every year, it's the SAME TIMETABLE!" he said with joy, as he shoved his books into the pockets of his shell. He closed the locker and locked it, before spinning down the corridor.
"Still a while till lessons start..." Dart said, so he decided to head to the library.
Dart entered the quite abode, and slowed down to his normal lumbering self, reducing noise.
He sat down next to Zenith, and on spotting him, simply stated: "We meet again Zen... hey I'm a poet, and I didn't even know it!" he joked, before settling on his seat.
"So... how have you been? Haven't spoken to you... since... the last P.E. class last year! Remember, I shot the sidekick that was your partner, and he accidently set the P.E. teacher's head on fire... hehehe... good times!" Dart said.

Zenith
Zenith didn’t look up from his book, but nodded as Dart sat down next to him.
“Yep, good times… I still wonder why you did that. Was he really that much of an ass to you? And I’ve been doing good so far, at least. I’m trying to catch up on my reading before classes officially start.”
Zenith paused before continuing.
“So, what brings you to the library; tired of those placement ceremonies like I am?”

"Yeah... those first year squeals really annoy me. I cannot wait till we get to use them as target practice!" he said with a laugh. "Of course, as a hero, you can't have any fun!" Dart said with a bit of a laugh.
He picked off the Guiness Book of Records and looked at various human endeavours.
"Kinda unfair superheroes aren't allowed in here..." he said sadly. "Eh... Zen?"
