Ain't that the truth. I'm starting to like this girl more and more.
"DEAD? Isn't that a bit.....harsh?" Not really.
She bit her lip a bit, fidgeting on cue when the comparison between her and Brat was made.
"O-oh? We look alike.....you don't want to hurt me do you?" What did she say?
Widening her eyes, she gaped for a moment.
"Wait....you LIKE having me around? Woah.....What IS she like?" Alot like me right? Wrong? I have no idea why they hate each other now but whatever.
"Family......."
Taking in a breath, Bubbles glared at Berserk.
"Family i-is IMPORTANT."
Her voice was getting stronger, steadier with each sentence.
"You should love them, if you can't love your own family, then who CAN you love?"
It was painful, turning on her own family. But HIM knew best, and she knew what she had to do. Still, now her hand made its way to her crumpling heart.
I still love them.......
Fighting back a few tears, Bubbles softened.
"Look.....Its not my place to tell you what to do....." Sure as hell isn't "But, I think you should reconsider abandoning your family.....As for your rival....knock yourself out I guess. As long as it makes YOU feel better in the end I suppose."
Blossom eyed his non-red clothes and suggested, "How about pizza? I remember there being a place near here with decent food." Gr, she needed food, but that ninth dead police officer was bugging her. The other Xite had only killed eight. She was certain of that. She needed to find out else had turned to homicide there...
"Just hope Bailey isn't working tonight." Brick responded. He watched Blossom's eyes dart away from him, she was obviously contemplating something else, looking a lot like she didn't want to be there.
She still thinks I'm a villain, doesn't she? Maybe I'll ask her later.. I'm getting tired of the prejudice.. How has it lasted since I was in KINDERGARTEN!?
Unintentionally, he glared straight at Blossom. He hated the way her, her sisters, everyone always treated him and his brothers. We were just like other little boys, just not wimps (oh, and super-powered).
"Well, hello there!" An old, wrinkled hand landed on his shoulder, bringing him back to reality and causing Brick's expression to change. "Did you find everything you need?"
Brick's head slowly turned, to see the old lady from before smiling up at him.
"Oh, deary, you shouldn't have cut your hair short like that! Girls should have long, flowing hair, more to brush and take care of!" The old lady said, grinning up at him before turning around and putting on a set of thimbles, hobbling away.
"Dear God I hate that lady." He muttered under his breath.

Berserk
"Why is there need to love?" Berserk asked Rini. "Family is not important to me. Not something the Oppressor instilled in me, and I think although my sisters are nice to have around, if they go, I won't be too bothered."
Rini seemed rather upset about the family thing.
"What is it about family that makes it important to you?" Berserk asked, attempting to avoid talking about Brat.
"That's a shame. Really it is." What was your life like Berserk? I wonder...
Thinking, Bubbles shifted on the bed more.
"Well, everything I guess. I regret it now. Me leaving them to go traveling. They must hate me by now......" It was partially true, but Bubbles didn't regret it much. Afterall, in the end she would be HELPING everyone.
"Oppressor? Isn't that a little harsh?" Of course it isn't, we call our dad Professor. But I guess it would be weird for a normal girl to hear that.
Biting back a laugh, Bubbles glanced at Berserk again. She nearly rolled her eyes in impatience.
"You haven't answered my questions......did you not want to talk to me? Cause I could leave........"

Berserk
"He WAS an Oppressor. He was a super-villain actually... he cared more about destroying than anything else, even us. We just learned how to get on his good side." Berserk said.
When Rini threatened to leave, Berserk shot out of her bed and blocked Rini from the door.
"Please don't leave... I don't want to be alone... again." Berserk said, innate (OOC: You know that's how it's actually spelled?) anger boiling within her, almost making her throw Rini onto her bed. She noticed she was acting aggressively.
"Sorry... I'm just... oh, never mind." Berserk said. "And I won't hurt you... I promise. I don't hurt innocents unless I need to." Berserk added. It was actually truthful. She had stolen and raided to survive or to complete various assignments, never to harm someone for the sake of harming.
Zim headed back to that food place he had been in and ordered another thing these humans called a pizza and talked to himself, or so it seemed like to the other people in the pizza place. In reality he was talking to not only himself but trying to see if Gir had any good ideas as to how they would track Aku, or better yet if there was a way around this and possibly getting out, cause it seemed to him that Him was losing his mind. "What could we possibly do?" he thought to himself
I'm not a nazi!... I'm a hamster with food in my cheeks!
A ripple of fear ran down Blossom's spine when she saw Brick's glare, and then she realized that she had been scowling while contemplating the mystery death. Did he think I was thinking about him? Then the old lady came up and commented on Brick's hair, and Blossom couldn't help but laugh. "Come on," she said, smiling. "Let's get out of here before she tries to sell you a dress."
As they left, Blossom did her best to pull her mind from the morbid thoughts from before. She honestly didn't like it when Brick looked at her with the anger and hurt that had burned in his eyes before. It... it hurt her, too. "I'll pay for dinner," she suggested when they entered the pizzaria, "since you paid for the clothes."
Zim looked up from his thinking and saw the two people that had come in, there was something familiar about them. 'Where have I seen them before?' he thought to himself as he followed them slowly with his eyes careful not to be too obvious about his looking at the couple. 'Hmm they look so familar.' Zim thought going back to him's own thoughts and looked over the data that he had picked up from the building that had been on fire. 'Well.. for a fire it wasn't all that hot, the temperature was only around maybe 100 degrees... but that was a big fire.' Zim thought looking over at the couple discretely.
I'm not a nazi!... I'm a hamster with food in my cheeks!
"Please, let me. I won't be around much longer, and I won't need too much money burning a hole in my pocket while I'm out on the road." Brick leaned in and whispered, "Er, in the skies." He laughed a little at his joke, sitting down at a particularly cushioned table (all the other ones the leather and styrofoam had been flattened).
"So, Bloss, if you don't mind me asking.." Brick shifted uncomfortably in his seat, "How has your life been going since.. since.. 'the incident'." Brick's mind wouldn't let him forget the day he single-handedly destroyed half of Megaville. How he had brought in scores of demons to terrorize the citizens, before he unleashed his horrible BlackFire.
Brick shuddered, despite the pizzeria being sweltering hot.
The question caught her off guard. It was a subject she hadn't particularly cared to think about for a while. As she tried to order her thoughts, the waiter came to take their drink orders. Blossom ordered a ginger ale, Brick ordered his drink, and then they were alone again, and Brick was waiting for her answer.
"It was rough," Blossom said finally, looking down at the napkin she was fiddling with. "It... really hurt that you did something like that, but I thought that I could get through... as long as I was with Bubbles and Buttercup... When they left... I knew it was because I hadn't been the sister I should have been, and that just made the pain that much worse...
"Then the various agencies started calling, and I got mad that all they cared about was getting another scientist while I was practically dying inside. Of course, I never said that. I knew that they weren't to blame for that. The recruiter from the FBI, though, was sensitive. He convinced me that doing something other than wallow would help me get back on my feet. I guess he was right, though, in the year and a half I've been working there, I haven't felt as good as I have the past few days, flying around Megaville again, even if I'm not with my sisters.
"One thing I can't get off my mind, though," her brow furrowed, "and the really sick part of this is that the very fact there's a mystery is getting me pumped up again, is that when I called my team leader earlier, he said that the report from the bank had nine deaths and six casualties. I was there on site, and I definitely counted eight and six. Someone's trying to cause mayhem without being tied to it, and I feel like if I find out who, then the various pieces will fall into place."
'Hmm.. so it is Brick and Blossom eh?' Zim thought to himself overhearing their conversation via a mic that was in Gir and then transmitted to a hearing device in his ear. 'Thank goodness that most humans think that I'm blind since I have a dog that knows where he is going so they seem to think that I am blind.' Zim thought to himself and keep listening in knowing it was probably only a matter of time before he was caught by the two of them.
I'm not a nazi!... I'm a hamster with food in my cheeks!
She flinched when Berserk blocked the door. Harsh, didn't need to act that strong about it.....
"Y-you won't? O-okay.....sorry but that other guy.......sorta scared me and now you....Oh sorry....shouldn't have compared you two...Meeeerrrr! I should just keep my bug trap shut! ><"
Rini babbled a bit, trying not to show she was 'nervous'. In reality, this was nothing new to Bubbles. She could handle this kind of pressure easily. Of course I decided I just HAD to act all helpless. Dammit, shouldn't gone with a BC persona......
It was the second time she had thought of that today. She had lost track of how many times her mind had drifted back to her spunky green sister.
Why did I always like her anyway?
Buttercup had always been the meanest to her. She called her names, stole her toys, and ruined everything she ever did. She was rude and completely different than Bubbles was. So why then, did she miss her the most?
Because.....she was kind and caring......she didn't want to show it....but she loved us all. She would have given her life for us. And what did we give back.....I abandoned her is what I did. But......I can't second guess this. HIM was right back then, and he's right now. I just have to listen and focus on the mission. Buttercup will have to wait.....
Lowering her head, she whispered a light, 'sorry' to Berserk.

Berserk
"What do you have to be sorry about anyway?" Berserk asked. "You haven't done anything wrong..." she added as an explanation.
Berserk calmed herself and returned to her bed, easing herself, and exhaling a loud sigh.
"I'm tired..." she said, letting down her guard for a bit. Rini was proving to be very interesting.
"You're not an ordinary person you know, you don't act like one anyway. You're always picking up on things people don't usually notice. And you're far too kind. A normal person would have some aggression somewhere... you need a bit to survive. People here might be less manic than in my previous place, but no-one is too selfless. Everybody are still money-grabbers, in one form or another." Berserk explained. She laid her head on her pillow, slightly unsatisfied she hadn't found Brat yet.

Bubbles sighed, she didn't want to seem too out of the ordinary. But Berserk seemed to not care so she guessed it was fine.
I've always been perceptive....and if only you knew what I was really like now.....I'm not nice you know.
"I-I'm sorry....erm....punk?"
She giggled at her 'attempt' at aggression. This was getting fun.
"Sorry hee hee. OH! I'm keeping you awake aren't I? >< Stupid me.....You can sleep if you want to...."
She was actually kinda touched that Berserk had said those things to her. Still, she was implying that they were all greedy in the end. How pessimistic.
But true. Where the hell was Berserk when we were trying to recruit Buttercup? She would have fit right in!
"H-hey...you okay? C-cheer up....I'm sure you can beat up your rival soon...."
Brick sighed and shut his eyes, leaning back in his seat. Thoughts immediately headed for Berserk, but then there was the chance that Brat had gotten a bit miffed at being naked in front of the crowd. Then again, she was pulling heroics..
Brick sipped his root-beer, letting a sigh escape between his teeth. "I've got a hunch as to who it was, but I can't be too sure. I was there at the bank this morning, and I had an.. encounter.. with some girl named Brat. But before you get the wrong idea, I think it was the person who sent me after her that did it. She looked a lot like you, actually. It's just her ribbons were a bit.. well, everywhere, actually."
Brick sighed again, placing his empty glass on the corner of the table nearest the window. "But I think it was her who caused the deaths, and she probably would have gone after my hide too had Buttercup not shown up and made me run.."
Brick re-opened his eyes to gauge Blossom's reaction, more to the reference of her sister than anything else.
Something made the hair on the back of Blossom's neck stand on end. She took a sip of her ginger ale and discreetly swept her gaze around the restaurant, immediately finding a person discreetly watching her and Brick. He was in disguise, her supervision told her that much, but other than that, Blossom had no idea what he was. Not human, that much was certain.
And he had heard everything.
Blossom continued her conversation with Brick, though, inwardly resolving to tail eavesdropper when he left. "How is my sister?" she asked. "I was on my way to find her when I found the bank incident."
"Just as wise-cracking and condescending as ever." Brick followed Blossom's gave when she singled out the observer, and immediately cursed himself for slipping up. "She didn't seem like she wanted o really.. talk, if you know what I mean." Brick rubbed his chin in a portrayal of mock pain, and chuckled a bit.
Arken was pretty surprised about how intrigued Buttercup was. It didn't really matter, though. If she enjoyed knowing more about him, Arken was prepared to answer any questions she had.
"Well, yes." He said. "We can communicate with each other if we want to. We can also hear what the other is saying, or see what they're doing if the other allows it."
He smiled slightly and said "Though now I've completely shut my inner self off. I can say or do whatever I please and he won't know anything about it."
(I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack; sorry! ><)
Buttercup
Blushing, Buttercup's mind had wandered to places...inappropriate...for small children and... even young adults like herself. She shook her head in an attempt to clear it, and tried to change the situation around slightly, to make it a little less.. awkward, for her, if Arken hadn't been thinking what she'd been thinking of.
"Well, I don't know if he'd care much to watch us clean this mess up," she said, gesturing around Arken's appartment, "but if he really hates cleaning, I guess it's nice of you to do him that favor."
She grimaced, not really looking forward to cleaning herself, but held her head high, stubborn enough to do what had to be done.
Brick Brick laughed, which ended in an annoyed groan. "More or less wandering, getting to know myself and whatnot." He shifted a bit in his seat. Amittedly, it was a bit odd how he was sitting at a pizzeria with his old rival, actually enjoying her company. Then again, since he and his brothers became teens, things have been a lot different. "I've been really trying to get over villainy.. I want to be a hero, like you and your sisters.. I've been helping people around the world, but I never could stand to call myself a hero. I don't know what it is, but something is keeping me tied to villainy."
Bunny Bunny shook her bangs out of her face, but as soon as she looked down again, they fell over her eyes. She couldn't help but watch her feet as she walked, she was in a new town, filled with new people. She was shy enough as it is, but her paranoia continued to tell her the thoughts of people around her, and none of them were very nice.. One commented on her scraggly hair, a group of girls made fun of her clothing.. Bunny sighed. She had been searching for a few years now, and had finally decided to backtrack to Megaville. She looked up to be sure she wasn't about to walk out into the street, or hit a pole, or whatever. Her glasses refleced the night skies in thier acryllic lenses; her large, violet eyes captured the light of the moon. She shook her bangs from her face, but as soon as she looked down again, they fell over her eyes.

Arken looked around at the state of his room. He was fairly certain that Buttercup didn't want to clean up, and he sympathized. He didn't know anyone who would want to take care of this horrid mess. However, being the magical person that he is, Arken figured that all that needed to be done was to put things back into their proper places. All the heavy-duty work could be taken care of in a flash.
"Well..." he began. "Despite how bad it looks, it won't really take much time to fix things up at all, so that can wait."
He coughed a bit, then said "Perhaps if there's...anything else you would rather do, that would be fine."

Berserk
Berserk drifted to sleep soon after she had finished talking with Rini. Berserk rarely dreamt unless she had a guilty consience or needed to think things over. Berserk would enter a sort of statis, but she could easily be taken out of her sleep with a abrupt or unusual stimulus. She was very difficult to kill even when she was asleep.
(OOC: Can't think of anything good to write... sorry.)
"Keeping you tied to villainy, hunh?" Blossom mulled over this for a moment before saying, "I think that's how it has to be to be a hero. I mean, no hero is famous just because. Batman's got the Joker, Superman's got Lex Luthor, the PowerPuff Girls had Mojo Jojo. And as far as calling yourself a hero, you can be a hero without the title. The term 'hero' is just something that comes from the people. Spiderman was a so-called menace for a while, but he was still a hero."
Impatiently, Blossom shot a glance towards their stalker. She was running out of small talk. When was he going to do something?!
'So she has noticed me. Eh nothing I can't handle with a bit or Irken technology' he thought to himself as he finished his food and left the pay on the table and pulled Gir by the leash and they headed off as he put something in his eye. To most people it would have seemed like a contact lense but it was in fact a reciever, which recieved the info from the Camera that was in the back of his backpack that he always had with him.
I'm not a nazi!... I'm a hamster with food in my cheeks!
"Finally," Blossom muttered, watching the stalker and his dog leave. Quickly, she pulled a wad of cash from her wallet and placed it on the table as she stood to go. "Looks like I'm paying for dinner after all. C'mon, Brick. Let's see what this guy's up to."
Walking through the doors of the pizzeria, an unusual figure entered. A tall red cat...roughly Blossom's height. He was dressed in a white tuxedo blazer, his hands behind his back as he walked up to the red haired Powerpuff with natural calm and finesse. He looked strange sure but this was Megaville after all.
"Blossom old girl." He said in his usual English accent, his hands dropping to his sides before he quickly drove them into his jacket pockets. "It's been such a long time. I haven't seen you in ages." It was all a ruse of course but he was talking so fast her brain would be hard pressed to keep it all in line.
"Hmm..." He quickly pulled out three bottles of perfume, one red, one pink, and one orange, holding them up and looking at Blossom, then the bottles, repeating this a few times. "I told them you were a summer." With that he took the pink bottle, shoving the other two back into his pocket and spraying a bit on the back of his hand before sniffing it...or at least pretending to.
"Perfect. Simply excellent." He said as he pulled his head away, spraying a quick puff into Blossom's face from the side before she knew what was going on from his confusing gibberish and strange actions. The perfume would have an almost immediate effect as he shoved it back into his pocket, looking at her casually. In no time she'd be feeling tipsy, like she'd been drinking champagne, with a hint of drowsiness as if she'd caught whiff of chloroform, but she'd stay well enough awake, and it did smell of strawberry perfume so no one would really notice, especially not the boy sitting there near her.
"Would you mind if we had a little chat Blossom?" He asked with a polite voice as he motioned towards the door with his head. "It's been so long. I'd love to catch up on what's been happening." He waited for her answer, his tail swishing gently as he paid no mind to Brick.
"Whuh...?" Blossom suddenly felt as if she couldn't stand on her own, the room was spinning. Instinctively, she reached for the strange cat as he was the closest thing to her. A small voice ranted and raved in her head, Don't do it! Don't go with him! Stay with Brick! but the words that came out of her mouth, slightly slurred, as she clung the cat's arm were, "A little chat... Sure... Be back later, Brick..."
